Problem: Installation fails with error "Unexpected error; quitting"

Possible Cause: User rights with UAC in Windows Vista or Windows 7

Solution 1: Disable UAC, reboot and run the installation. Ensure UAC is enabled again after the installation has been completed. The option to enable or disable UAC can be found in the Windows Control Panel under User Accounts.

Solution 2: To install without disabling UAC, run the installation using an administrative user account. With Windows Vista and Windows 7, this may need to be a domain administrator user account. If the error still occurs, you may have to disable UAC.
